What we collect

- A first name or gamer tag, if you give one.
- Whether you asked to be invited to playtests.
- When and where on the site you signed up, and that you gave consent, so we can show you agreed.
What we use it for
To send you Crashwave news, playtest invites and launch updates. Nothing else. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not buy mailing lists.
Legal basis
Your consent. You give it by ticking the box on the form and confirming your email address (double opt-in). You can withdraw it any time.
Who handles it
Our mailing-list provider, Kit (kit.com), stores the list and sends the emails for us. It only processes your details on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe. After that we delete your details, apart from a record that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe with the link in any email. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your details by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL TBD]. If you are in the EU or UK, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. All fonts are served from this site. If you join our Discord or watch a trailer on YouTube, those services have their own privacy policies.
